Sometimes you just know a couple will have the most extraordinary wedding day the moment you meet them - Addyson and Harry were exactly that. These two share an impeccable sense of style!
After family photos, we had about 15 minutes for portraits on the majestic staircase at @weddingsatmerrymeadehouse - the historic Merrymeade House in the heart of Brentwood, Essex. We made use of every second and used every space along the way, moving quickly but never rushing the moment.
At The Arlington Ballroom & Tab Restaurant, the day unfolded as a quiet homage to the glamour of the roaring ’20s and old Hollywood glam - soft draping overhead, low golden light, a sense of occasion in every detail. Guests arrived dressed in black, forming the most striking backdrop, while the bride and groom in white felt almost cinematic in their contrast. And then the sunglasses - a small, playful touch that somehow made everything feel even more refined, more intentional, unmistakably them.
There was a rare balance to it all - elegant yet relaxed, modern yet deeply romantic. The kind of wedding that feels as good as it looks, and looks like it belongs in a film you don’t quite want to end.

Shall we talk about your day?
If these images resonate with you, I'd be honoured to be your photographer on your special day.
And just to answer something I often get asked - I travel across the UK all the time for weddings, so even if you’re getting married in Scotland, Wales or somewhere a little further away, I’d be more than happy to come.
Travel is always kept simple and reasonable, and in many cases it’s already included.
